Need in our area continues to escalate as evidenced by the numbers of families on our waiting list at the shelter and the steady stream of people that arrive at our door daily searching for assistance. Your donation will be appreciated as we continue to help families in our shelter, women needing mammograms, parents coping with divorce and separation, children needing insurance and young adults receiving leadership and empowerment skills.
YWCA Salem provides the necessary skills, resources, guidance, and assistance to help meet the needs of women and families in Marion and Polk counties.
Through opportunities that promote and enrich self-sufficiency, character, financial stability, emotional support, and healthy life style activities.
By delivering direct support services of shelter, childcare, resource connection, health screening and medical referral, leadership training, interpersonal relationship skills, language access, to women, at-risk teen moms, girls, and their families.
