women’s health

Women's Health Program
Breast health education and screening referral

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women. The best way to beat breast cancer is with early detection through breast self-exams, clinical breast exams and mammograms. We partner with the Oregon Breast & Cervical Cancer Program, to offer no cost women’s health checks including a clinical breast exam, pap test/pelvic exam and mammogram to women that qualify. We also provide breast health education and participate in numerous community awareness events throughout the year.

Breast Cancer Support Group
Meets at the YWCA the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Wigs, breast prosthetics, hats and scarves have been donated to our program and are available at no cost to women undergoing cancer treatment.
